In poker, the term “board” refers to the community cards which are laid out on the table face up. These cards are used by all players to create their complete poker hands. There can be various numbers of cards on the board depending on what type of poker is being played. For example, in Texas hold ‘em and Omaha hold 'em, there are five community cards on the board.
