Second pair
In poker, the term “second pair” refers to a situation where the customer has a pair of cards in hand or on the board, and this pair is of second-highest rank out of all the cards in hand or on the board.
A second pair is usually considered to be an average or weak hand, especially if there are higher cards or stronger possible combinations for opponents on the board. Nevertheless, depending on the specific situation, it can be used to bet and raise if the player believes that it could be strong enough to win the round.
It’s important to evaluate the second pair in the context of the current game and take the cards on the table and your opponents' bets into account to help you make the right decisions in poker.
