Set
A set in poker is a strong combination which is made up of three cards of the same rank (value) in one hand. This means that the player has three cards of the same rank in their hand, and the two remaining cards may be different.
A set is also called “trips” or “three-of-a-kind”. A set can be used to bluff or to create a trap for your opponents, especially if there are no visible improvements for other players on the table, and they may assume you have a weak hand. In these cases, a set may lead to big winnings.
