European Handicap
"European Handicap” (also known as “3-Way” in international sportsbooks) is a type of bet in which one of the teams (or sides) is given a virtual advantage by the bookmaker before the match begins. This advantage is reflected as a starting score prior to kickoff. For example, a handicap of 2:0 means that the first team starts the match with a two-goal advantage. When placing a bet on this handicap, the team must win the match taking this initial advantage into account.
“European Odds” (also known as “Decimal Odds”) is a format for displaying betting odds that is most commonly used in CIS countries and many other regions. The odds are shown in decimal format, and to calculate the potential payout, the odds are multiplied by the stake amount. For example, if the odds are 2.00, the total payout will be twice the stake amount.
